Usually, at the school, our proctors and our teachers are more than capable of handling a student’s disciplinary problems on their own. We prefer they take such issues and resolve them as needed, in the way that best fits the discipline problem. Occasionally a discipline issue requires the attentions of more than one of us though, especially when you have a particularly false student that is good at getting one teacher to go easy on them.
So when I reviewed the punishment record of one of our more prize students, in preparation for another bout of discipline, I was surprised to see a record of very minimal punishments. That tells me she probably has a proctor wrapped around her finger, and we cannot have that. This provoked a visit from myself, as well as one of my most strict proctors for her discipline this time. After a full inspection, without giving her a chance to hide anything, we determined that she had no marks from a punishment supposedly just a day or two before. That was all the proof we needed to make sure that this time our belts left a lasting impression on her behind. Her reactions proved that she has not been getting punished properly. We corrected that issue, and then sent in her roommate to make sure that her welts were taken care of.
